A useful and rewarding use of 2 hours. Even after the break I felt that there was a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I enjoyed my experience attending the workshop.  Content and presentation by the facilitators was high quality and engaging. At no point did I feel anyone acting reserved or afraid to speak up and make their points or share their own experiences or feelings.  The structure of the session and it’s focus on the human elements and impacts to each of us was a key positive vs. taking a more academic view on the topic. Most importantly, each breakout session provided an excellent review of the challenges and opportunities inherent in the topic while allowing us to raise and clarify our own personal viewpoints.

Not only does the Synergiene workshop process capture general sentiments and themes, it also allows for undertones and nuances to be captured and explored in the moment. In my opinion, this is impossible using traditional survey methods.
The topic of the workshop, Self-Awareness and Empathy in the Time of COVID, was timely and of universal relevance. I believe that it is critical for companies to understand how employees are dealing with their unique challenges on account of new hybrid/remote workplace reality in order to maintain productivity and retain talent, and it was surprising to me how varied these challenges were from person to person. In January 2022, I had a pleasure of attending the Synergeine’s workshop. The workshop was attended by about 15 people from different countries with very different life experiences, different jobs, big and small companies, self-employed, different family situations, etc., and consequently with very different perspectives on experiences of the last two years.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of listening to other people’s experiences, coping mechanisms, and their outlook on life in general. The sessions were well organized, with an introduction setting up the stage and the break-out room discussions. The introduction by Evgenya and team and their moderating of the sessions were very effective. While I expected that people had the same or similar experience during COVID to me and my family, it was surprising that for many people it was not the same. It was interesting to hear how different the experiences and to have a chance to learn from each other.
